    Adil Waraich

    I’m Adil Waraich, the President of the Students’ Union. The union is a registered charity and its here for all its members, which is every student of De Montfort University. It has a powerful input into the decisions the university makes and lets us all be heard loud and proud. It is my job to lead the union on your behalf and to help empower you all to make the change you want to happen, the change you want to be.

    Amie Chapman

    Hi I’m Amie, your Deputy President Education this year at De Montfort Students Union. Whilst at DMU I studied Psychology With Education studies (and somehow achieved a First class honours?!) I look after anything related to your education, so please do get in touch. Your degree is incredibly important to me, and I’m here to make sure you complete it to the best of your ability.

    I am Adam Redfern, Vice President Media and Communications here at De Montfort Students’ Union. My role, alongside the other four elected students officers is to represent you, get your voices heard and make your university experience the best it can possibly be.

    Stephen Burrell

    Hi, my name is Stephen Burrell and I am the Vice President Student Activities at De Montfort Students’ Union. My role of being VP Student Activities includes overseeing the activities of the 32 sports, over 95 societies and volunteering work at DSU. With the role I am also the Chair of the RAG (Raise and Give) Society.
