DSU Volunteering are offering you the chance to start your own student-led volunteer community project. If you have a great idea that you would like help getting off the ground please get in touch and we can help you plan and carry out your idea. We can also help you look for funding to help cover costs associated with your project. 

You can apply for funding of up to £200 by completing the Student-Led Projects form here and emailing it back to our Student-Led Projects Officer, Hannah Slater (contact details on the form). Your project and budget will then be discussed by the Student Volunteering Committee and a decision made on the funding given.

If you would like to discuss your project further we would love to hear from you and help put your ideas in to practice.

To come in and have a chat about a project, please visit us at the DSU Volunteering Office, Students’ Union (First Floor of The Campus Centre), Room 1.30. The office is open from 9am until 4.30pm. Alternatively, you can email us on volunteer@dmu.ac.uk or call the DSU Volunteering Office on 0116 257 6304.
