Step One
You need to register with DSU Volunteering before you start volunteering, to do this you can either register online by clicking on the ‘JOIN US!’ button on our homepage or download our registration form using this link:

If you dowload the form please then email it to volunteer@dmu.ac.uk or bring it to the Volunteering office in the Students’ Union. Once you have registered you will receive a weekly bulletin direct to your inbox, letting you know everything that’s going on.
Step Two
Take a look at the volunteering opportunities on the website to find the projects that interest you. Then come along to the Involve office to have a chat to a Volunteer Suport Officer to pick up all the details on your chosen projects. They will tell you everything you need to know to start volunteering!
Step Three
Depending on the project you choose it may be necessary to attend one of the Involve Induction sessions that take place fortnightly during term time. The session will tell you everything you need to know about becoming a volunteer for a DSU project and give you a chance to meet other likeminded students. Details of these sessions will follow.
