► Introduction

Level 1 is DSU’s very own award-winning 1,000-capacity venue, bringing you weekly and monthly events from club nights such as the legendary ‘Big Bad Cheese’ to Comedy, Live Bands and much more.

Acts to have performed at the Venue range from 2008 X-Factor runners up ‘JLS’ (just 6 days after the X-Factor Final and their first ever show), to the likes of soap stars and DJs including Radio 1 legends Jo Whiley, Scott Mills, Colin Murray and many more.

Level 1 looks to give you the most affordable and enjoyable night out there is in Leicester for DMU students, whilst keeping you safe with our Best Bar None policies, which again saw us shortlisted in the Leicester BBN scheme in 2009 for Independent Club of the Year.

Have fun, socialise, enjoy a drink, but be safe; DSU is a community within a community. Remember, all Level 1 profits are re-invested in you, the students of DMU.
